Centerpieces by Candy Rocks

Here are a few more from the party at Eagle Mountain.  We combined the traditional flowered centerpiece with a fun interactive candy offering.  The color combination was perfect.  Instead of one lucky person taking the centerpieces home at the end of the party, this allows the entire table to enjoy the centerpieces not just visually but it does taste good too.

Candy Rocks the Centerpieces at Eagle Mountain

Besides the amazing people and the different relationships I love the fact that something new comes along every day.  This past weekend I had the pleasure of combining two sides of the Candy Rocks business; candy and centerpieces.  We rocked it at the Eagle Mountain Golf Club in Fountain Hills.  Congratulations Leslie and Alan!

My Favorites...

Every time I talk to family, friends, clients, and potential clients the number one question is, "what is your favorite?"  My answer is, "I like them all".  So I decided I would upload a few pictures from time to time and let you decide.

Candy Rocks - The Special Event Show

I have finally had a chance to review my pictures from  the past year.  I definitely need to do a better job of staying on top of it.  It is like waiting to the last minute to do your paperwork, homework, paying bills, etc.  It is so overwhelming.

These pictures were taken at The Special Event Show back in January.  This a very fun event.  One of the things I really like are the different themes.  This event was a Candyland theme.  How perfect is that?

Candy Rocks El Chorro Lodge

One of the most enjoyable things I have found about being in this business is the people you meet and the friends you make.  I had the privilege of doing a candy buffet and centerpieces for a mother/daughter birthday party at the El Chorro Lodge in Paradise Valley.  It was a 50/80 birthday party theme.  Stacey is a wonderful person and I am blessed to have been able to make this day for her and her mom even more special.

Bonomo Turkish Taffy

In the beginning of the year my husband comes back from a trip to San Francisco raving about this taffy he bought while in SF.  Apparently Bonomo Turkish Taffy stopped production sometime back in the late 60's.  Last October they brought it back and you can find it pretty much in any good quality candy store.  To the point...on the back of the package is the address for Bonomo; 1 Old Country Road, Suite 360, Carle Place, NY 11514.

Coincidently enough we were renting a car from Avis located just down the block from Bonomo.  My husband was elated that we can go to Bonomo and stock up on every flavor.  Unfortunately disappointment soon set in.  It was like telling your kids they can't have a sleep over.  The address was an office building for a bunch of attorneys, accountants, and ProFlowers.com corporate office.  I honestly thought he was going to cry.  Regardless, he still loves his taffy!

It's been awhile

I hope everyone had an awesome summer.  I am sorry I haven't posted in awhile.  I will try to catch up over the next few weeks.
